Mattresses, Mini-Golf, and a Great Cause

INDIANAPOLIS, IN - We recently had the honor of sponsoring a hole at the 9th Annual Dayspring Center Mini-Golf Classic fundraiser, and what a night it was! The weather was beautiful and we had around 100 participants from different organizations around the community come together to compete in Mini-Golf and rally around one of our city’s most wonderful and charitable non-profits.

For those who are unfamiliar, Dayspring Center’s mission is to provide emergency shelter, clothing, and nourishing meals to homeless families with children in central Indiana. They work with families not only to meet their basic physical needs, but also to address any relating issues that may have contributed to homelessness, and their results are phenomenal. Eighty percent of residents who complete the program at Dayspring Center move directly into permanent housing.

We have long been a fan of the work done by Dayspring Center and are proud to support and partner with them, so naturally, we were thrilled to have the opportunity to sponsor a hole at this year’s Mini-Golf Classic. We constructed a hole entirely out of foam that we use in our mattress construction, and pledged to donate one mattress for every hole-in-one that participants hit on our hole. At the end of the night, we reached a total of 10 mattresses to be donated directly to Dayspring Center!

We’d also like to note that our team who was competing for the coveted Mini-Golf Classic Trophy came in second place (again). This was a bitter end to a year of hoping, but, mark our words, we will be back next year and will be playing to win.

Thank you, Dayspring Center, for all you do and for allowing us to be a part of your mission!
